Gwen Stefani follows a "protein-based" diet regime to keep her breathtaking figure.
The platinum-haired singer is renowned for her impressively honed body and gorgeous appears. The 41-year-old star operates with private trainer Mike Heatlie to preserve her slender frame.
The fitness professional says Gwen relies on protein to keep her in form.
"You need to have some carbohydrates. Anybody who says you don't is incorrect. I've tried consuming no crabs and it's not that productive - but you must only eat them up until lunchtime," he explained in an interview with Closer magazine. f
"Gwen follows a protein-based diet with vegetables. She has lots of salmon or chicken and vegetables at lunch and dinner, whilst omelettes, a protein shake or porridge make great breakfast selections."
Mike says there exists lots of pressure on female celebrities to usually appear completely preened. The exercising guru works with his customers to make-sure they maintain their slim frames healthily.
"There's so much pressure," he explained.
"It can be destructive if they're struggling with their excess weight - they'll end up hiding away. Around the other hand, that pressure is possibly very good for some, because it forces discipline. The world expects them to become in shape."
